Dachshunds are good dogs to travel with. Dachshunds are very smart also, so you should start training her while she’s young. They sit, shake, roll over, play dead, speak, etc., etc. Dachshunds are a lot like terriers – they can be noisy, aggressive, hard to train and stubborn. In general, dachshunds are silly, fun-loving dogs that are relatively easy to care for. They can get jealous, so they are not ideal for families with small children. That being said, if dominance training is not established when Dachshunds are puppies, they will attempt to control their owner. They have an extremely bold and proud personality.
